My name is Caryn Fisher.

18 years in horse racing took me to the USA, Australia, Italy, England and Dubai. I know horses intimately as an art subject, the musculoskeletal system, the way the coat shines over the muscles and the facial expressions.

During my travels I studied various Graphic art subjects and did a few years of Media Arts and Animation through the Arts Institute of America. I also managed to feed my enjoyment of Art History visiting museums and galleries.
I left horse racing in 2008 to go and live with my family in Trinidad and Tobago, we explored parts of the Caribbean and I gained inspiration from the huge and thriving art world there.

In 2010 we found our dream spot on a 1000 ha wildlife estate in Hoedspruit, where we can sit outside on the deck and watch giraffes browsing just metres away. We are only an hour from the Kruger National Park and spend many lazy Sundays driving around looking for animals and photo oppurtunities.
